The Toba lake was a volcanic lake of 100km x 30km in North Sumatra, Sumatra, Indonesia. In the middle was gotten a volcanic island was named the Samosir Island. After this eruption, was formed the caldera that afterwards was filled by water and to that now is known as the Toba Lake.
